Meridian Day 2002

By  |

July 31 was Meridian Day at the Neshoba County Fair. Hundreds of people from the Queen City were there.

The day is a chance to show off what's happening in Meridian. And this day is a chance to talk about the good things going on to the folks at the fair.

"This is a chance to say to Philadelphia and Neshoba county, that we're a partner with you, and we want to come and take part in your Neshoba County Fair day, and talk about what's going on in Meridian," said Smith.

Another carousel horse was unveiled during the festivities at the Neshoba County Fair.

The horse will be moved and placed at the downtown Meridian office of Cong. Chip Pickering at 22nd Avenue and 5th Street.
