On the morning of Oct. 5, Lauderdale County sheriff's deputies were called to 2770 Paulding Road on a call of a possible shooting. They found Robbin Morgan, 46, dead of a gunshot wound.

Sheriff Billy Sollie said the 911 call was made by the shooter, property owner and landlord Andy Barry. He said the incident stemmed from what is described as a domestic dispute between Morgan and housemate Tammy White.

"The individual who is deceased, along with a female and possibly a second female, were all residents of the 2770 Paulding address," said the sheriff.

According to Sheriff's Department officials, after an altercation with Morgan, White left her home to seek help at Barry's trailer. White suffered fractures, bruises and lacerations.

Morgan apparently followed and attempted to force his way into the trailer through a window when he was shot by Barry.

"A preliminary interview has taken place with those (people)," said Sollie. "We'll be revisiting those individuals later this week in an attempt to get a clearer picture of what happened."

No charges have been filed in the shooting. The interviews and all the information collected at the crime scene will be presented to the Lauderdale County grand jury.
