Just this week another restaurant opened in Butler. The Mustard Seed is located across from the Choctaw County Courthouse. Its specialties are soup, sandwiches and desserts.
Melynda Cowan is the owner. She says the restaurant is the result of "divine inspiration."
"I taught school for 12 years and about a year ago we did a little lesson in Sunday school class about spiritual gifts and it turned out that my gift was hospitality."
Earlier this fall another restaurant opened along the courthouse square. The Sawmill Café specializes in seafood and down-home country cooking.
