UWA Controversy to End?

Gov. Riley says he plans to end the split when he fills five soon-to-be-vacant slots on the board. At the end of this month five of the board members terms will end.

Since March the board has been split into two factions, which meet at different times and in different locations.

Just this week, the Southern Association of Colleges placed the school on probation because of the controversy.
