Mississippi will not get a fresh batch of flu vaccine until next month.
State epidemiologist Dr. Mary Currier said the Centers for Disease Control has purchased some flu vaccine from foreign providers, but it could be mid-January before it arrives in the Magnolia State.
The Health Department's pharmacy still has some pediatric vaccine for children six months to 35 months.
