A church van wrecked Friday morning on Interstate 59 near the north Enterprise exit.

It's the third wreck of a church vehicle in our area in the past couple of months.

However, there were no serious injuries for members of Good Shepherd Hispanic Baptist Church of Metairie, Louisiana.

Members of First Baptist Church of Stonewall came to the scene to help.

"One of our church members actually came to the site here," said pastor, the Rev. Tony Davis. "And I just came out here to check. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ. And we want to help anybody we can any time we can."

"The driver tried to control as much as possible but he got, when he got close to the edge, to the ditch right here it seemed like the trailer kind of went to the ditch and the trailer kind of like started flipping," said church member Jaime Dheming. "But really only the hand of God is what saved every, nobody really got hurt. Thank God, just little bruises."

This group is part of a music worship team that was heading to Talladega, Ala., for a retreat. Dheming said nothing will stop the church's plans.
