Mercedes Announces New Jobs in Alabama

The plant will need 1600 new workers this year as it completes doubling capacity to make M-Class sports utility vehicles and the GST Roadster.

The new workers will part of the non-union work forces that will make a newly designed M-Class, the first passenger care Mercedes ever built in the United States.

The Vance plant will also make the GST Road touring vehicle, a new model that will be first made in Alabama.
