Lauderdale County Schools to Ask for $5 Million Loan

By  |

The Lauderdale County School system will meet on Monday to discuss asking for a $5 million to $7 million loan to improve the county's four campuses.

If the board approves the loan it will likely go before county residents for a vote in the November general elections.

Lauderdale County School Superintendent David Little says by no means would the loan mean an increase in county taxes.

The topic of the proposed loan will be discussed Monday night's work session.
