Yazoo County district attorney, James Powell, says he will seek the death penalty for Earnest Lee Hargon, who is charged with kidnapping and killing three members of his own family.

During funeral services for Michael, Rebecca and four-year-old James Patrick on Friday, the Reverend urged mourners to seek forgiveness and not seek the death penalty.

The District Attorney says the Catholic Church does not determine his job and he will go forth with his plans of capital punishment.
