Miss. House Passes NASA Funding Bill

By  |

The Mississippi House has passed a bill that would allow the state to borrow $19.5 million for construction at the Stennis Space Center in Hancock County.

Supporters hope the new facility, which would house NASA Shared Services Operations, will lead to larger NASA projects in Mississippi.

These votes come just days before NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe is scheduled to visit Stennis Space Center to consider the plan.
