George Ray Lee is in jail in Meridian after being arrested in Monroe, Louisiana earlier this month.
Lee is waiting for a hearing on a murder charge. He's accused of killing Frederick O'Neal, 27, of Atlanta in Meridian October 20, 2001.
Another Louisiana man, Dominique Jefferson, was recently indicted in the case also and is free on bond.
