Gov. Ronnie Musgrove has called lawmakers back to Jackson for a special session Tuesday, July 30.
Legislators are being asked to address economic development, Medicaid, and private prison contracts.
The governor wants lawmakers to pass a $31.5 million package of incentives for Howard Industries of Laurel to add 2,000 employees.
