Lt. Gov. Amy Tuck was released from the hospital Wednesday night after she was diagnosed with mycoplasma pneumonia. She was hospitalized Saturday at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Tuck had been suffering nausea and severe headaches.

Tuck's chief of staff, Ben Thompson, said he spoke to her Wednesday
night she is under strict orders to rest as much as possible. It's not clear when Tuck will return to work.

Lawmakers are about to start final budget negotiations and have
to agree on bills by May 1. The session is set to end May 9.
