Enterprise and Quitman school districts have board of trustees run-offs later this month. No candidate garnered 50 percent plus one in the Nov. 3 election.
Rebecca Watkins and Mike Williams are vying for the Place 4 spot on the Quitman board.
In Enterprise, April Ivy and Robin Moore are in the run-off for school board.
The runoffs will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24. The Clarke County Circuit Clerk's Office says qualified voters may participate in the runoff election, even if they didn't vote Nov. 3.

Hasn't the Good Ole Boy system been in place long enough. Vote for someone who might stand for a change. Out with the old and in with the new.

I hope that people in the Enterprise school district will get out and support Robin Moore. I've known Robin and her family for a long time and I feel that she will represent all the people in the district.

Let's give Rebecca a chance. Mike has been there for a long time. It is time to see if someone else can make a difference. In these hard times with the economy I have a problem with good taxpayers money being spent on landscaping in front of the high school. I hope whoever wins decides to spend our money more wisely. Send a message to all our elected officials. WE ARE GOING TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!!!!
