Alabama Native Injured in Ft. Hood Shooting
Marengo County, Ala. A Marengo County soldier was among the 29 injured in the Fort Hood, Tex., shooting last week.

A Marengo County soldier was among the 29 injured in the Fort Hood, Tex., shooting last week.
Ivan Bernard Howard is a native of Gallion, Ala. He was injured when Maj. Nadal Malik Hisan allegedly when on a shooting rampage there. Thirteen people were killed.
Family members say Howard was scheduled to undergo surgery Monday for injuries to his shoulder. Family members have traveled to Texas to be with him.
