A west Alabama man was killed in an accident Sunday night around 8:30 p.m. on Highway 17 in Geiger.
Investigators say it also involved a large truck, which broke down on the side on of the road.
"A semi-truck broke down in the road and another vehicle was in front of it trying to jump it off," said Sheriff Johnny Hatter. "And the deceased person came behind him and hit him because he didn't have lights. He was dead on the scene."
