The Meridian Police Department is asking for your help in the apprehension of Kenneth Wayne Herrington.
Herrington a 46-year-old white male, about five feet nine inches tall and weighs approximately 155 pounds. He is wanted on charges that include residential burglary, kidnapping, two counts of sexual battery and one count of forcible rape.
"These charges stem from an incident that occurred last night in the southeastern part of Meridian," said Meridian Police detective, Dean Harper. "A young lady known to Mr. Herrington was abducted from her house, taken into the county and assaulted."
Detective Harper added that Herrington is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous and if you come into contact with him, call your local law enforcement office.
