Some good news is heading to Clarke County.
Third District Congressman Chip Pickering on Tuesday will announce a national emergency grant for former workers at Burlington in Stonewall.
The announcement, including the amount of the grant, will be made at 9:30 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce office in Quitman.
Pickering will be joined by elected officials, members of the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce, officials from Jones County Junior College, as well as laid-off workers from Burlington.
