Tip Leads to Arrest

A fugitive accused of burglary, kidnapping and sexual battery has been arrested by the Meridian Police Department.

Forty-six-year-old Kenneth Wayne Herrington was taken into custody after a stakeout Wednesday night.

Police got a tip about where Herrington was staying, and made the arrest around 1:20 a.m. Thursday morning. He is being held at the Lauderdale County Jail.
