Lawmakers were working into Saturday night on the smallest of details in the estimated $3.7 billion state budget.
They plan to sign off on the final figures at some point on Sunday. One thing's clear from the budget discussions, not everyone will be happy.
Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Jack Gordon says the final budget will be somewhere between what the House and Senate individually passed during the session that began January 6.
Other lawmakers say agencies could expect reductions in travel and equipment money across the board, plus the elimination of vacate staff positions.
