Victim Identified

The three-year-old boy who died Sunday, Aug. 18, at Quitman's Archusa Creek Water Park was Jakarrius Owen of Clarke County. He was with family members on an outing when the tragedy happened.

Owen was missing for about 10 minutes and then was found in the water about 30 yards from shore.

Autopsy results have not been released yet but no foul play was suspected.
