The death of 58-year-old Lonnie Grisham at the East Mississippi Correctional Facility at Lost Gap has been ruled a homicide. Authorities say a blunt force trauma to Grisham's head was the cause of death.

Twenty-nine year-old Tyrone Wilson, Grisham's cellmate, is a suspect in the beating.

"We'll present this info as well as the investigation from when the investigators arrived on the scene to the grand jury in November," said Lauderdale County Sheriff Billy Sollie. "With the direction to the D.A.'s office to go for a manslaughter or murder charge."

Wilson is currently being held in an isolation cell at Lost Gap, but so far, he has not been charged.
