Siegelman Arraigned

Former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman said Thursday he's confident a jury will exonerate him of federal conspiracy charges.

Siegelman entered a not guilty plea at an arraignment hearing in Birmingham.

"My purpose is really to ensure that the whole truth comes out, not just bits and pieces but the whole truth," said Siegelman. "And I know in my heart that if the whole truth comes out that the people of Alabama and the jury that is to be selected will see for themselves that I've done nothing wrong."

Former Chief of Staff Paul Hamrick and Tuscaloosa doctor, Phillip Bobo, also pleaded not guilty Thursday. All were charged with bid-rigging.
