An Alabama legislator says Greene County's sheriff has the authority to deputize men to stop a raid of the local dog track.
The commander of the governor's anti-gambling task force says Greenetrack's electronic bingo operations are illegal slot machines.
State Sen. Bobby Singleton, a Greensboro Democrat, said Sunday at a news conference that local officials would defy any attempts by Gov. Bob Riley's task force to raid Greenetrack bingo operations without a warrant.
Task force commander John Tyson issued a warning Saturday to all casino and slot machine owners to get their machines out of the state immediately. He also called on Greenetrack, the state's only large operation still open, to shut down.

Of all the things to be worried about. The only thing these law enforcement officers have to do is raid bingo halls with slot machines? Maybe they need their budget cut. With all the problems with drug trafficking they are upset about slot machines!?! Idiocracy!
We the Citizens of the great state of Mississippi thank you Governor Riley. We have the real casinos here, come on over!!!!! We need the money.
