Roughly 12 to 14 boy scout troops of the Meridian/Lauderdale area are putting their outdoor skills to the test. All weekend the boys camped out in Philadelphia.
"We're out in state park having a good time. We're really just going to have a bunch of games tonight. It's going to be real fun. We've been working with the troop a lot working on some things for the first and second class. It's been real fun," says Cody Cullum.
"We're having a good time at the state park in Philadelphia. We're just going to have a few games. We got here around 5 or something like that last night and we just set up our tent over here and that's pretty much it. We're just having a good time. Leadership skills we'll have some group skills, working together as a team and everything so that we can advance into the world and go on to be successful," says Christian Dehek.
The boys will wrap up Sunday morning.
