The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department says a third suspect is in custody in the weekend murder of Stanley Lyles. Rosemary Para is currently being held on $50,000 bond at the Lauderdale County Detention Facility. She's charged with accessory after-the-fact. Johnathan Davis and Eric Thomas, the two men who allegedly robbed and stabbed Lyles, have waived extradition and could be flown back to Meridian this week.
"The staff is working right now with individuals who have an airplane to get them flown back here," said Sheriff Billy Sollie. "We hope by the end of this week, both individuals will be here in our facility."
Para returned to Meridian to face military officials at NAS Meridian for not being on duty when she was supposed to be.
