Erosion has been eating away at an area adjacent to the parking lot according to Agricenter director Rob Seal.
"It doesn't actually create any more parking but it does stop the erosion that we did have. It was running at approximately 70 feet a year of erosion, so you can imagine how much topsoil that is," Seal said.
Foreman Ernest west said concrete from the old Wal-Mart site was laid at the bottom of the hill and dirt is being packed on top to stop the erosion.
