A Philadelphia man was sentenced to 10 years in prison last week after pleading guilty to a burglary at the First United Methodist Church last December

Daniel William Kelleston, 25, pleaded guilty to a burglary at the church and at M&S Furniture, Inc.

Two years of Kelleston’s 10-year sentence will be suspended upon him providing truthful testimony in connection with the burglaries should he be called to do so by the state.

Kelleston was ordered to pay $600 in restitution to M & S and $2,749.04 to the church. He was also fined $1,500.

Burglaries at churches carry enhanced penalties.
