After three days of competition and 41 contestants, Keli Schutz of Rankin County is the 2004 Junior Miss. Schutz will replace 2004 Junior Miss Christina Myers.
Saturday night’s competition was the culmination of a week that began last Sunday with the arrival of the 41 state contestants.
Before the three nights of competition, contestants underwent daily rehearsals but still had time for fun activities such as a pajama party, a luau at a nearby water park and a judges party at the Dentzel Carousel in Highland Park.
As Mississippi’s 2005 Junior Miss, Schutz will receive numerous scholarships and will represent the state at the America’s Junior Miss Program in Mobile, Alabama.
