Neshoba Veterans Request Huge Budget Increase

By  |

The county’s Veteran Service Officer has requested a 115 percent budget increase in order to facilitate what he calls an ever-growing need among veterans in Neshoba County.

The 115 percent increase would towards renovation, new equipment and a hefty pay increase for Veteran’s Service Officer, Mike Fulton.

Meanwhile, several veterans from the area petitioned the Neshoba County Board of Supervisors to deny the budget increase, saying Fulton was not doing his job.

The request was taken under advisement by the board; no action has been taken.
