Shooting Death

Meridian police are investigating a weekend shooting which left one man dead. Shortly before 9:00 p.m. Saturday night police say Michael Drake was found shot to death outside a house located at 1306 29th Avenue.

At this time, officers say they do not have a motive.

"We have someone in custody that we're talking to at this time. No one has been charged. Anyone with information is advised to call Crimestoppers or the Meridian Police Department," said Detective Dean Harper.
