Newton Murder Suspect in Custody

A man wanted for a murder in Newton County was taken into custody Wednesday.

Just after 2:30 p.m., 44-year-old William Earl Robinson turned himself in to authorities.

Sheriff Jackie Knight said deputies found Robinson semi-conscious in a car at the Woodyard in Newton. He was taken to the hospital to be examined.

Robinson is accused in the Apr. 30 shooting death of his sister-in-law, Katrina Kennedy.
