The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department is investigating a weekend shooting.
Sheriff Billy Sollie said one man had to be transported to the hospital after the shooting.
The incident happened at the Sandhill Club at 10310 Sandhill Road.
"There were shots fired at that location one individual was hit in the arm. He was transported to a Jackson hospital. He's been treated and released," said Sollie. "We do have a suspect, but until we have an opportunity to interview the victim, we're not going to make a charge at this time."
A conviction in the shooting could mean up to 10 years in prison on a charge of felony aggravated assault.
