At the end of America's longest economic boom, the magnolia state apparently did not fair very well.
Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alaska were all dead last in economic growth. Rhode Island and Idaho were tops.
The commerce department released the stats on Monday on a 10 year period of growth ending in 2000.
