The Mississippi Highway Patrol has identified the two people killed in last night's one vehicle wreck at the 45 bypass and Lockheed Exit near Meridian. The dead are identified as
Joshua Steele of Memphis and Kelly Anderson of Bartlett, Tennessee.
"The vehicle was occupied by four people," said MHP Sgt. Ronnie Carter. "The two passengers in the rear were thrown from the vehicle and proved later, they were the two fatalities in the case. We believe none was restrained by a seatbelt."
Sgt. Carter said the other passenger is hospitalized at University Medical Center in Jackson in stable condition. The driver was treated and released.
