Gun at Atlanta's Airport

Authorities in Atlanta detained and questioned a man who apparently tried to carry a handgun through a security checkpoint Thursday at the airport. He told authorities he was picking up his mother.

"So, is the system perfect?" asked security director Willie Williams. "No, the system's not going to be perfect. I don't know there's a perfect system. But clearly the policies that are in place today have reduced the risk."

The suspect reportedly told authorities he didn't think the gun would cause any trouble.
