Around 8 p.m. Saturday night the man who placed a Ten Commandments monument in front of the Bible Bookstore on 23rd Avenue removed it.
Mike Bunkley with Jesus Saves Ministries says he recently received a letter from city officials stating that the monument had to be moved because it was on city property. In the letter he says city officials cited that this is a violation of the clause requiring the separation of church and state.
Bunkley says he's now looking for a new site where he can place the monument.
