South Mississippi drug agents recently got a surprise when they attempted to execute an arrest warrant at a Wayne County residence.
Instead of a suspect, officers found a large patch of marijuana.
At least 17 plants were seized from a house on Chicora River Road. Investigators say the plants had an estimated value of almost $10,000.
Twenty-five-year-old Shaun Hinton has since been arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana.
