A pack of wild dogs are causing problems for a Meridian neighborhood.

Julie Manley, who lives at 52nd Place, said she had to lock her doors, because seven dogs were controlling her yard.

Manley said she couldn't get any help over the weekend from animal control, but this morning the city sent the police and animal control to solve the problem.

"Anytime there's a problem, we'll get out there and will deal with it," said Chief Administrative officer Ken Storms.

Animal control is not staffed on weekends except for emergencies.

The dogs have yet to be captured, but police say they will be patrolling the area.
