Hung Jury in Duncan Trial

The capital murder trial of Jonathon Duncan of Laurel ended Thursday night with a hung jury.

Duncan, along with Jamie Terrell Jones of Gulfport, was indicted for the death of store clerk Marty Brady.

The shooting happened at Brady's Country Store in Moss in June 2001.

Defense Attorney Leslie Roussell pointed the finger at Jones as the likely triggerman, but Jones testified that Duncan fired the fatal shots.

Jurors were unable to agree on a verdict. Duncan's new trial has been set for Oct. 14.
