Authorities Investigating EMCF Stabbing

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department says it is investigating a stabbing at a prison this weekend.
Investigators say an inmate at the East Mississippi Correctional Facility in Lost Gap was stabbed sometime on Saturday evening. The victim did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say one or more suspects are in custody. A motive is unknown at this time.
Investigators say they are in the process of gathering facts about the incident.
