The Quitman Christmas Parade was a great success as city officials, floats, high school bands, classic cars, and many families were there to promote the big parade they've had every year for over the past 50 years.

"Oh it was really good, we had alot of fun," Quitman resident Joann Chesnut said. "As you can see, I'm loaded with candy, and my grandson was in it, and my grandchildren. And so, I've had a really good time at it."

Those involved in the festivities donated their time and efforts and it really paid off for this year's parade in Quitman. Mayor Eddie fulton was very proud of the community and the big turn out this year.
