A body was discovered on the Yazoo-Sharkey County line Monday evening, and authorities fear it is a Texas man who went missing over the weekend.
Sharkey County Sheriff Lindsey Adams says the man, along with some male friends, were on a party barge on the Sunflower River Sunday afternoon when he jumped off, never coming back up.
Rescue and dive teams from the Madison County Fire Department took part in the search, the identity of the man has not been released.
