A boil water notice was issued Tuesday for residents of Scooba.
Town officials said the Scooba Water Association experienced a major leak.
The supply will be tested to make sure contaminants did not get in the water lines.
Residents of Scooba should boil their drinking water until tests confirm the water is safe to drink.
