Car/Train Collision

A west Alabama driver is lucky to be alive after his car was hit by a train.

At the time of the crash, investigators say the motorist was crossing train tracks at the intersection of Strawberry and Franklin Street in Demopolis.

The driver was not hurt. The accident happened Monday; it remains under investigation.
