Meridian, Miss. A city judge has ruled there is sufficient evidence to proceed with prosecution of four people accused in a weekend armed robbery and shooting. The evidence will be presented to a grand jury.
Three of those suspects, Gabriel Lawshawn McKey, Laquanta Price and Kiara Pickens, have waived their right to an initial hearing in the case.
The fourth suspect, Marvin Horn, had his initial hearing late Wednesday. The judge ruled there is enough evidence to proceed.
All four are charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault in an incident early Sunday at Northwood Place Apartments.
