Charge Filed in Saturday Shooting

Meridian police have charged a local woman as an accessory in a shooting incident Saturday night outside Frank Berry Courts.

Meridian, Miss. Meridian police have charged 19-year-old Aliyah R. Abernathy of Toomsuba with accessory after the fact to aggravated assault.

Officials say the charge stems from a shooting reported Saturday night outside Frank Berry Courts.

Abernathy's bond was set at $50,000. Police say the investigation is continuing.
