Charge Filed in Weekend Standoff

A Meridian man has been charged in a standoff and shooting at a home over the weekend.

40-year-old Sanchez Clark was arrested at Anderson Hospital Tuesday, where he was hospitalized for three days, recovering from what police say were self-inflicted wounds.

MPD officials said Clark also shot a woman inside the home, before having a two-hour standoff with police.

Clark is charged with aggravated domestic violence and felon in possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $150,000.
