Child Safety Fair

The 2012 Child Safety Fair was held at Wesley House Thursday evening.
Something for every member of the family was available, including materials to help prevent, and deal with, child abuse.
The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department even hosting self defense classes throughout the evening.
"A lot of times kids are afraid because they haven't been told what to do if something happens," says Maya Edwards with Wesley House, "so this is about what to do for everybody, and making sure that it doesn't happen."
The fair wrapped up around 8 PM Thursday.
