Children Get in the Halloween Spirit

Children at Clarkdale Child Care Center got an early start on their trick-or-treating.

Kids at Clarkdale Child Care Center donned their Halloween costumes and went door-to-door at the daycare, getting prizes along the way.

Some chose to be Batman characters or pirates. Others were princesses and ninjas.

"It's just a fun time for the kids," said owner/director Savannah Overstreet. "It gives them a break from their normal curriculum and their normal daily activities. It gives them something fun to do."

Clarkdale Child Care center will also have a fall festival Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free and it's open to the public.
